Brian Newmark's Pay Per Click blog finally went live

I am thrilled to share that my first post on PPC.org went live today.  In the blog I examined numerous PPC ads and gave my insight as to why I would or would not click on them.  I also took a look at the landing page for one of them and I hope the site reads my post, they need help.  Here is a link to the post: http://ppc.org/brian-newmark-shares-weekly-pay-per-click-insights-assesments/

Additionally, I put up a slide deck on slideshare.com  here is the link: http://www.slideshare.net/BrianNewmark1/brian-newmark-brand-com-products-and-services

Enjoy reading and check back each week for more on PPC.org

Brian Newmark will be hosting a blog about Pay Per Click Advertising strategies

I am very happy to report that I have been given a regular blog about Pay Per Click.  The blog will be live on the site: www.ppc.org.  This blog will focus on my experience on PPC which goes back 10 years to the early days of the concept.  I have watch the evolution of the industry.  In the old days since there was not a lot of competition, the investments were small.  Now for many industries each click is over a dollar.  It requires a significant investment, yet many companies are not strategic in their methodology.

I am going to be sharing strategies to make wise use of your pay per click budget and avoid the "I think it is paying for itself" mindset.

Looking forward to sharing my insight with you all.

Thanks
Brian Newmark

The past week has been a whirlwind for me.  All great events, but if every week was like this, I would have to walk around with 5 Hour Energy shots in my pocket.  It started last week on Thanksgiving, like most, we traveled to be with family.  Friday I worked, then came home to a small party at our house.  Saturday we had 40 people over for a catered event celebrating my beautiful wife's 40th.  It was a truly fantastic evening.  Sunday we had overnight guests still with us from the party.  - OK, that part wasn't so exciting, here is where it gets interesting.

Two weeks ago, I received a call from my business partner in Saudi Arabia, he needed to come to the states to meet in person.  Intrigued, certainly...  That last week included significant preparation for his visit to ensure we accommodated his customs.  We had two days of intensive meetings which will result in significant additional work in Middle East, which I am very much looking forward to and was expecting.  What I was no expecting was his desire to truly enjoy American food.  If you know me, you know I try to eat very healthy.  Coming off of Thanksgiving and entertaining all weekend, I normally would have spent this week eating oatmeal and spinach.  No such luck.  Buddakan and Del Friscos for dinner, which we had to push back because we had eaten so much for lunch both days.  No visit to Philadelphia would be complete without Cheesesteaks, so yes, I even had a cheesesteak.  - Ugggg

Today I was out the door at 6:00 to head to Connecticut for a speaking engagement on the topic of protecting your brand which is your company's name as well as the names of all the members of your family from online attacks.  The group I spoke to was fascinating, all high net worth individuals who value their reputation.

No back to Philadelphia where tomorrow I'll try to catch up on a week's worth of regular work, plus countless hours of new work as a result of this weeks activities.

As I said, truly a fantastic 7 days, but holy cow, this is a crazy pace.
